Contract Review
The General Counsel’s Office must review all university-related contracts for legal form and sufficiency. A contract is a document which sets forth an understanding or agreement between the University and a third party. Contracts include memoranda of understanding, agreements, letters of agreement or any other document which memorializes an understanding or agreement between the University and a third party.
Unit heads should carefully review all agreements before submitting them to the General Counsel to ensure that your unit understands the operational requirements and commitments set forth in the document.
Contracts are subject to the Contract Execution and Signature Authority Policy.
