Bowie State University’s Staff Council is proud to launch a new employee recognition initiative designed to celebrate staff who are making meaningful contributions within their departments while helping to advance the university’s strategic plan, core values and mission.
The individuals highlighted for Fall 2025 represent the first group to be recognized through this initiative, with additional honorees to be celebrated in the spring and summer. Jabari’s contributions include the development of the BSU Climate Action Plan, establishment of the university’s first fruit tree orchard, and creation of the BSU Climate Career Fair/Central Maryland HBCU Climate Career Expo. Affectionately known as "EJ," she supports the implementation, management, and optimization of centralized strategic enrollment management operations and technology systems.
