Bulldog Booster Club (BBC)
Bulldog Nation Athletics seeks your philanthropic support for our 13 intercollegiate athletic programs. In pursuit of academic excellence, student success and the long-term viability of our institution, your support of the Bulldog Booster Club (BBC) will provide the financial resources needed to recruit and retain highly motivated student-athletes who compete at the highest level within the NCAA Division II and the resilient CIAA. Your contribution will also assist with strategic development initiatives that will improve the infrastructure development of facilities, the purchase of equipment and apparel, academic support, wellness programming, and social development. The BBC is an annual membership driven fundraising initiative open to all alumni and friends of Bowie State University passionate about supporting student-athletes and the BSU athletics programs.
Bowie State student-athletes are Bowie Bold and Bulldog Strong!
The BSU Department of Athletics benefits the entire university and the surrounding communities. As an auxiliary to the university, the Department of Athletics is responsible for all program fundraising.
Membership Options
Bulldog Booster Club (BBC) members who join at the $1,000 or $2,000 level can select from the following options:
- Option 1: 100% of the contribution will be donated in support of the general athletic fund, OR
- Option 2: 30% of the contribution can be directed to your sport of choice (i.e., football, track, etc.) and the remaining 70% will support the general athletic fund. Individuals will still reap the benefits of being a BBC member.
Black Level: $1,000
- Football Tickets (2) to all home games + parking and entrance into the President’s Circle
- Basketball Tickets (2) to select home games + entrance into the President’s Circle
- Bulldog Pin
- Recognition on BBC website
- Recognition on the James Physical Education Complex video board
- Membership is yearly, July 1 to June 30. Membership is renewed on an annual basis.
Gold Level: $2,000
- Football Tickets (2) to all home games + parking and entrance into the President’s Circle
- Basketball Tickets (2) to select home games + entrance into the President’s Circle
- Bulldog Golf Classic tickets (2)
- CIAA Basketball Tournament general admission tickets (2)
- Bulldog Pin
- Recognition on BBC website
- Recognition on the James Physical Education Complex video board
- Membership is yearly, July 1 to June 30. Membership is renewed on an annual basis.
Success of BSU athletics is heavily reliant on the continued generosity of donors, booster club members, alumni and friends who annually support the Department of Athletics. Your help is needed to build and maintain the necessary resources for BSU student-athletes to succeed in competition and academics.
Tax Deduction
The amount of your contribution that is deductible for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of the amount contributed by you over the value of the goods and services you received. Your donation to join the Bulldog Booster Club may be 100% tax deductible if you decline the benefits that come with your membership.
