Bus Shelter
Students can now charge electronic devices while waiting for the MTA bus. The start of the 2015-16 Academic year features a new and improved sight around Henry Circle between MLK and Center for Business which help boost the University’s sustainability efforts. BSU purchased a new, modern bus shelter and had it retrofitted to include: six 5v USB ports, a full power outlet, and LED lighting which is activated during non-daylight. This is fully powered by 100% solar energy by panels located at the top of the shelter. The panel is connected to a battery which provides full charging energy to the outlets. This shelter is unique to almost any college in the nation.
