Upper Division Certificates
The program is open to Bowie State students in any undergraduate major who meet the prerequisites or anyone outside the university looking to develop a new skill.
The following courses are prerequisites required for admission into the program.
- Computer Science I (4 credits)
- Computer Science II (4 credits)
- Data Structures and Algorithms (4 credits)
- Computer Architecture and Organization (3 credits)
If you have programming experience, you may request a waiver for some of the above requirements.
How to Apply
The undergraduate upper-division certificate in cybersecurity accepts admission materials on a rolling basis.
- If you are a current degree-seeking student at Bowie State University, please complete the Major/Minor/Certificate declaration form (pdf) indicating your certificate choice and submit it to the University Registrar
