Bowie Careers in Health Professions (CHP) Student Requirements and Responsibilities

The following are requirements each student must uphold to apply and remain in the program. Requirement completion is assessed each semester by the Bowie CHP program coordinator.  

• Maintain a 3.3 GPA per semester and earn an A or B in the required courses
  If unable to maintain, students will be put on probation (up to 1 semester or to the discretion of the Bowie CHP Coordinator) to increase GPA
• Attend monthly 1-1 sessions with the Bowie CHP Program Coordinator to track academic progress 
• Students are expected to earn points by participating in various activities and promoted by the Bowie CHP Program Coordinator. Students must earn a minimum of 700 points per semester, to be retained in the program. See the image below for more details.
