What You'll Learn
Expert research faculty guide students in the exploration of advanced biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, microbiology, immunology, biomechanics, and plant and animal biotechnology. Students will be trained both on the recent advances in the field as well as on the technical aspects through laboratory experiences You will:
- Hone your technical and research skills in our state-of-the-art labs by developing hypothesis, experimental design, data analysis and data interpretation, while employing safe laboratory practices with the highest ethical conduct.
- Study cutting-edge instrumentation in chemical biology, drug discovery, membrane lipids in infectious diseases, enzymology, data sciences and epidemiology, proteomics, immune response to bacterial infections, virus structure and function, plant genomics, and more.
- Develop the writing and oral communication skills needed to effectively and professionally share ideas and research findings.
- Develop innovative thinking, communication skills and the ability to work in teams, skills important for success both in academic and industrial settings.
