Girls Who Will Summer Camp
Girls Who Will is a summer program for middle and high school girls that provides innovative technology education to girls in the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virgina areas.
- Dates: June 23 – July 2,2025
- Location: Bowie State University (in person)
- $350 (includes all-you-can-eat lunch, material, and supplies)

Eligibility
- GWW Sumer Camp 2025 is limited to only 15 middle school girls and 15 high school girls.
- Middle School participants must be between the ages 10 – 13.
- High School participants must be between the ages of 14 – 18.
- Must have an interest in computers and excelling in school.
Application Process
- Applications are due by Friday, May 2, 2025.
- The committee will select up to 15 students per camp (middle school and high school) on a first-come, first-served basis. All others will be placed on a waitlist.
- The committee will notify selected campers on Friday, May 16, 2025.
- Registration is not a guarantee of acceptance to the camp.
Payment
- If selected, the $350 payment must be received by Friday, June 7, 2025, along with an emailed copy of the payment receipt or the payment confirmation number to Dr. Velma Latson at either vlatson@bowiestate.edu or gwwcamp@gmail.com to secure the participants spot in the camp.

- 9:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
Arrival and check-in - 9:45 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Guest speaker - 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Instructional activities - 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Lunch/activities - 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Instructional activities - 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Guest speaker/group projects - 4:00 p.m.
