Admissions Requirements

To apply for the MAT program, you must complete the graduate program application and submit proof of the following: 

• Passing scores on the PRAXIS CORE: examination in academic achievement tests or other qualifying tests approved by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE)
• A bachelor’s degree in preparation for eligibility in the specialized areas from an accredited university  
• A 2.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0-point scale
