Bowie State University Closed on Jan. 26 Due to Inclement Weather

Due to inclement weather, Bowie State University will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. All classes, office operations and on-campus activities are canceled. Residence halls will remain open. Admissions Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
  • A certificate certifying eligibility to teach in early childhood, elementary and/or secondary education
  • At least two years of teaching experience
  • Currently working in an educational setting
