Entrepreneurship Innovation Center
About the Conference
The HBCU Entrepreneurship Conference hosted by Bowie State University-themed “Boldly Paving the way to Entrepreneurship” brings together HBCUs from across the country to share best practices on how to infuse entrepreneurship into the campuses and community. Having an entrepreneurial mindset is important to our community and the HBCU colleges. This conference, held virtually, brings together major speakers from black-owned enterprises and various HBCU Colleges to share innovative ideas and strategies on how to empower the community to build wealth through entrepreneurship.
This conference is the first hosted by Maryland's oldest historically black university and it brings exciting opportunities for all participants. The conference will offer more than 30 session panels.
Reputable leaders and organizations from HBCUs, business incubators and foundations explore ways to foster a culture of encouraging an entrepreneurial mindset, embed entrepreneurship in the school curriculum, and establish partnerships with businesses and the community.
