The Entrepreneurship Innovation Center is a launchpad of opportunity that connects Bowie State University with the broader Bowie community. As part of a campus-wide initiative, the EIC is positioned to help turn ideas into actionable business plans and pair each person with the resources they need to take the next logical step. Our goal is to connect you with the right people in the right spaces to help you access resources, drive innovation and take tomorrow boldly!

About Us
Our mission is to instill an entrepreneurial mindset across the Bowie State campus. We strive to provide students, faculty, staff, and the Bowie community with a wide range of experiential learning opportunities, tools, and resources to help transform ideas into actionable ventures.
Our goal is to prepare our stakeholders with the innovation and practical skills necessary to transform their ideas into impactful, real-world solutions. Our primary objective is to provide the foundations of an entrepreneurial mindset.

Q. Who can use the Makerspace at the EIC?
A. The Makerspace is open to current Bowie State University students, faculty and staff. To use the Makerspace, you must complete the safety training through our Blackboard portal. You can complete the training now or review the tools available for use at the Makerspace.
