At Bowie State University, entrepreneurial education is a priority across the entire campus. Our goal is to produce graduates who are ready to be creative problem-solvers within a workplace and those who are ready to chart their own course by launching business ventures.
The Entrepreneurship Innovation Center (EIC) collaborates with various academic classes and co-curricular experiences across campus and in the community.
Entrepreneurial education and real-world application make Bowie State University a powerhouse for innovation and bold thinking.
State-of-the-art Facilities
The Entrepreneurship Living Learning Community provides tech-infused classrooms, a makerspace and incubators for business development. This collaborative space gives students, faculty, alumni and business owners a place to build an entrepreneurial mindset, pursue prototype development and gain support for their efforts in putting their ideas into action.
Experiential Learning
Students build their entrepreneurial mindset by engaging in hands-on learning opportunities like the Bulldog Pitch Competition—where they can refine and pitch their business ideas for a chance to win cash prizes. The EIC also hosts open mics, popup shops, summer programs, guest lecture series, workshops and networking events throughout the year.
