Nestled between the nation’s capital, Washington, DC and a major metropolitan city, Baltimore, MD, Bowie State University, the oldest historically black college/university in the State of Maryland and one of the oldest in the country, offers a beautiful, serene campus with fresh outdoor spaces and state of the art venues to accommodate your event needs.
These spaces include (but are not limited to):
- An all-Steinway Fine and Performing Arts Center, equipped with the latest technology for digital media arts and music production
- LEED Gold Student Center
- LEED Platinum certified Center for Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Nursing
Accommodating 20 to 1,500 guests, we have a variety of meeting and event spaces including a gymnasium, arena, football stadium, and more. Our seven residence halls, named after prominent historical figures, provide affordable comfort while you experience Bowie State University and the surrounding metropolitan areas.
