Continue management of solid waste through reduction of food waste and addressing food insecurity

Tasks:
- Identify text alert software that allows students to sign up to be notified of catering events that have food remaining at the conclusion of the event
- Develop steps & guidelines for event holder to communicate food overage to students at the conclusion of the event
- Develop tool for measuring student participation in program
- Work with DIT

- Implementation and accuracy of technology for students to sign up
- Number of student participators signed up

Tasks:
- Communicate with distributors to offer more fresh vegetables and fruits
- Work with retailer to obtain recycled bags and distribute recycled bags for food items.

- Increase non-required meal plan purchases by 10 meal plans each semester
