Earth Month
Earth Day 2024 was Monday, April 22 with the global theme of “Planet vs. Plastics”. In the past, BSU has traditionally celebrated the days surrounding Earth Day with a series of events known as "Earth Week." This year we advanced this effort and expanded offerings throughout the entire month of April. Therefore, the Office of Sustainability with C4, our BSU Student Green Ambassadors, and our partner - Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay celebrated EARTH MONTH with a variety of events starting with the April 3 participation in the Maryland Climate Teach-In and culminating on April 29 with hosting the PGCPS Student Environmental Alliance Summit.
