Campus Closed Jan. 21 - Operations Virtual

Due to a power outage, Bowie State University’s campus will be closed on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. All classes and office operations will be virtual except for planned activities in the James and McKeldin Gymnasiums.

Program Requirements

To receive a Bachelor of Science in biology with a secondary teaching certificate, students must complete a total of 132 credit hours and pass the Praxis Core and Praxis II exams. Program requirements include 40 credits in education and 64 credits in math and natural sciences classes.
