    Homecoming 2025 at Bowie State University at Bowie State University is October 26 - November 2, 2025. Homecoming Day is November 1, 2025.

    We have a variety of exciting events planned for Homecoming Week! A full list of events can be found here. Check back often as more events may be added closer to Homecoming.

    You can purchase Homecoming football game tickets here. BSU students can claim one free ticket with their Bulldog ID card.

    If you purchase or claim a ticket, you do not need to register. Your football ticket will serve as your campus registration.

    Please note the BSU Department of Athletics has a clear bag policy for all athletic events.

    BAG POLICY

    Fans will only be able to carry the following style and size bag into the stadium or arena, all of which are subject to search.

    • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
    • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
    • Small clutch bags measuring 4.5" x 6.5" with or without a handle or strap

    All other bags will not be permitted. A list of prohibited bags includes but is not limited to purses, backpacks, drawstring bags that are not clear, briefcases, coolers, fanny packs, luggage, computer bags, camera bags, binocular cases and diaper bags.

    Guests are encouraged to return unauthorized items to their vehicles. Bowie State University cannot safeguard items that are not permitted into the stadium.

    Homecoming is a time to celebrate Bowie State University and connect with students, alumni and community members near and far. As we welcome everyone back for this year’s festivities, we’re committed to ensuring a safe, memorable and family-friendly experience on campus. 

    By ending Homecoming Day activities by 7 p.m., the earlier time decreases the chances of fostering unsafe situations and contributes to a safer environment for everyone involved.

    Homecoming is a time to celebrate Bowie State University and connect with students, alumni and community members near and far. As we welcome everyone back for this year’s festivities, we’re committed to ensuring a safe, memorable and family-friendly experience on campus.

    Registration allows us to provide important safety information and updates to attendees before, during and after Homecoming. Knowing who will be on-site makes it easier to account for everyone in case of an emergency and enables quick communication during emergencies. Registration also helps ensure that our campus doesn’t exceed safe limits, which is crucial for crowd control and emergency evacuations, and it can help identify any unauthorized individuals, thereby enhancing overall security.

    Anyone wishing to access campus on Homecoming Day – Saturday, November 1 – must register for campus access by no later than Friday, October 31. Please register as soon as possible due to limited campus capacity.

    • BSU students living on campus do not need to register for campus access.

    If you purchase a Homecoming game football ticket, you do not need to register. Your football ticket will serve as your campus registration. Please purchase football tickets as soon as possible.

    • BSU students can claim one free ticket with their Bulldog ID card.

    REGISTER OR BUY FOOTBALL TICKETS

    As a reminder, all faculty, staff and students are required to have their Bowie Bulldog ID Card visible while on campus.

    To enter Bowie State University’s campus, please enter through the main entrance on East Loop Rd. off of Jericho Rd. A campus map can be found here.

    Attendees must present their registration or Homecoming football game ticket QR code to access campus. Registering for campus access does not include parking.

    Bowie State University is committed to promoting a healthy and safe environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors. This policy is intended to reduce health risks associated with smoking and secondhand smoke for the campus community. Bowie State University's No Smoking Policy can be found here.

    The purpose of this Policy is to establish Bowie State University’s standards for student alcohol use on campus and during student organizational activities on and off campus. Additionally, this Policy prohibits the use of controlled dangerous substances by students.
