Homecoming Registration

Homecoming is a time to celebrate Bowie State University and connect with students, alumni and community members near and far. As we welcome everyone back for this year’s festivities, we’re committed to ensuring a safe, memorable and family-friendly experience on campus.

Do I need to register?

Yes. Anyone planning to be on campus for Homecoming Day, Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, must either purchase a game day ticket or register for campus access by Friday, Oct. 23, 2026.

Please secure your ticket or registration as soon as possible.

How do I secure campus access?

Are you watching the game?

Purchase a Homecoming football ticket. It doubles as your campus registration, so no separate registration is needed. Bowie State students can claim one free ticket with a Bulldog ID.

Are you coming to campus, but not watching the game?

If you plan to attend other events on campus, register for campus access.
If you need to purchase a tailgating space, see Homecoming Parking.

Do you live on campus?

Yes: Register for a residential armband. If you plan to attend the game, you will also need to register for a free student game day ticket.
No: You will need to register for campus access. If you plan to attend the game, you can register for a free student game day ticket, which will also serve as your campus registration.

Getting to campus

We encourage you to take the MARC train to campus. A free shuttle will run between the train station and campus.
If you're driving, we recommend parking at a satellite location and taking the shuttle to campus.

Parking on campus

If you prefer to park on campus, you'll need to purchase a parking ticket.
Note: You would still need to purchase a game-day ticket or register for campus access.
Parking is limited and traffic can be heavy, so expect delays. We highly recommend that you either take the MARC train to campus or park at a satellite location and take the shuttle bus to campus.

Keep Homecoming Safe

Registration allows us to provide important safety information and updates to attendees before, during and after Homecoming. Knowing who will be on-site makes it easier to account for everyone in case of an emergency and enables quick communication during emergencies. Registration also helps ensure that our campus doesn’t exceed safe limits, which is crucial for crowd control and emergency evacuations, and it can help identify any unauthorized individuals, thereby enhancing overall security.

As a reminder, all faculty, staff and students are required to have their Bowie Bulldog ID Card visible while on campus. Please note the BSU Department of Athletics has a clear bag policy for all athletic events.
