Types of Vending

There are three types of vending at Homecoming. Please review the requirements for your vendor type in each tab.

Any external food truck vendor must provide the following documentation before the event:

  • A current certificate of insurance listing Bowie State University as an "additional insured"
  • A current business license
  • A Health Department food service permit
  • Fire Marshal approval, if applicable
  • A current menu for Elior's review and approval

Business and Auxiliary Services does not guarantee utility accommodations, such as electrical or water access, for external vendors. All food truck vendors must meet these requirements and receive approval before operating on campus.

Food truck vendors must complete the Competitive Vendor form.
