Admissions Requirements
To be admitted to the doctoral program, you must provide evidence of the following:
- A master’s degree, from an accredited institution, in school administration or a closely related field
- At least three years of recent successful administrative experience in pre-collegiate school settings
- A satisfactory score on the Millers Analogies Test (MAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE) that is no more than five years old
- At least three professional references from persons who can attest to your academic and work experience
- An overall GPA of at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) for all previous graduate studies
- Proof Administrative I/II Certification
You must also submit:
- A graduate application accompanied by a $50.00 application fee, which is neither deductible nor refundable
- One (1) copy of official transcripts of all post – secondary academic studies
- A 400-word essay addressing in detail the applicant’s interest in the doctoral program, prior administrative experiences and aspirations as an educational administrator
- A current vita for review by the admissions and program director
