A Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence prepares you to be a leader at the forefront of emerging technology. AI is transforming the way people around the world work, live and interact, with critical applications in healthcare, finance, media, entertainment, engineering and more.
In the Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence program, you build a strong foundation in artificial intelligence, intelligent systems, computing and cyber-physical systems. The program combines AI theory with hands-on applications in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, robotic operating systems, mechatronics, robotic perception and robotic motion. You also gain experience in cloud computing and parallel and distributed computing to support scalable and autonomous AI systems.
Through the program, you will also develop a deeper understanding of AI theory, including how to apply AI to solve real-world problems and its cultural, ethical and civic implications. As AI becomes increasingly integrated into everyday life, there is a growing need for AI-fluent professionals who can contribute to both technical and strategic roles.
Why a Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence Major at Bowie State University?
This program focuses on how computers and software can model human thinking, learning and reasoning. It also explores how computers simulate human movement and motor control. Once you enroll at Bowie State University, you will automatically receive a list of scholarships you qualify for, based on the SAT/ACT scores and GPA provided on your admission application.
