Bowie State supports pregnant & parenting students.

Bowie State University is committed to creating and maintaining a community where all individuals enjoy freedom from discrimination, including discrimination on the basis of sex, as mandated by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. Sex discrimination includes discrimination based on pregnancy, childbirth, recovery from childbirth, related medical conditions, parental status, marital status, and lactation. Pregnant students, students with pregnancy-related conditions, and parenting students are entitled to equal access to educational programs and activities. 

Reporting and Assistance
