Due to inclement weather, Bowie State University will be closed January 26-27, 2026. All classes, office operations and on-campus activities are canceled. Residence halls will remain open. VI - 9.00 - Policy on Traffic Rules and Regulations

I. Purpose

To insure that vehicular traffic moves freely to, through, from and around the University and to authorize the University Office of Campus Safety to implement rules, regulations and procedures governing parking and traffic on the University campus.

II. Applicability

The rules, regulations and procedures implemented pursuant to this policy apply to all property owned or leased by Bowie State University and to all employees, students and visitors.

III. Guidelines and Standards

The rules, regulations and procedures governing parking and traffic on the University campus are contained in Bowie State University Parking Rules & Regulations, published by and available from the Office of Campus Safety.
