Experience: Hear special guest lecturers discuss significant cultural and societal issues like race, religion, civil rights, and LGBT inclusion.
Join: Students can enhance their studies and build a professional network by contributing to our creative writing journal, participating in Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society, or presenting at conferences such as the College English Association-Middle Atlantic Group and the South Atlantic Modern Language Association
Intern: Students can earn credit for internships through our ENGL 383 class. Students have interned at the Smithsonian Museum, Rowman & Littlefield Publishing, Shakespeare Folger Library, “The Writer’s Haven” radio show, and the Maryland General Assembly.
