Kamryn Watkins

Hometown: Bryans Road, MD

What are some BOLD moves you've made on campus?
Being a student leader. The best thing you can do at Bowie State is to get involved.

Which campus organizations have you joined?
I’m the Senior Chief-of-Staff for the Student Government Association. I’m also a member of the Campus Activities Board Street Team and LIFT – a community service group on campus.

What inspired you to choose the major you chose?
I used to watch this tv show called “Criminal Minds.” I want to be a forensic psychologist and I always loved how creative that show was.

What do you look forward to doing after you graduate?
I plan to get my masters and my PhD. I want to become a profiler and hopefully work for the CIA.

What are your expectations for yourself as a student?
Getting 4.0s! Succeeding and having fun while I do it.

What makes Bowie State special to you?
Family. It’s a small school, but everybody is comfortable. We all know each other and we all have fun together.

What have you learned about yourself at Bowie State?
To be true to yourself. Be you! A lot of people get lost and can’t find who they truly are. But we all have something to bring to the table.
