To implement procedures for BOR VII 7.21-Policy on Jury Service for Exempt and Non-Exempt Personnel.
All regular exempt and non-exempt employees.
II. Guidelines and Standards
A. Employees shall notify their supervisors upon receipt of a notice for jury duty. If selected, the employee shall notify the supervisor without delay. Employees shall submit documentation verifying attendance with their time sheets.
B. If operational needs require the employee not to be absent, the department head may request the court to excuse the employee.
